The Flying Sidekick with Pickup and Delivery

We propose dispatching deliveries with a truck that can deploy small drones during its route, with each drone making one or more deliveries (and/or pick-ups) and then rendezvousing with the truck further along the route.

Vehicle Routing Problems with Drone Resupply

Orders are often ready to dispatch at different times. We propose allowing the truck to leave with the available orders, and send a heavy-duty drone to rendezvous with the truck mid-route to re-supply it.
